The CRP designation is highly respected within the relocation industry. It recognizes those dedicated professionals who have demonstrated a minimum of two years' experience dealing with relocation issues and have mastered extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of relocation. The CRP program tests the Realtor's knowledge of Relocation Appraising, Residential Real Estate (relocation-related), Corporate Relocation Policies & Issues, Relocation Tax and Legal Issues, and Family Relocation Issues - all crucial components of a smooth relocation.

In order to become a Corporate Relocation Professional, one must meet certain eligibility requirements and pass a comprehensive exam on the various aspects of the employer relocation field. To maintain the designation, one must meet membership requirements and earn 30 relocation continuing education credits every three years.
